Six Weeks In!

We are six weeks into the year and we're so happy we have your children back with us! Since masks were made mandatory we have had a huge reduction in the number of students having to miss school for exposure and positive cases. The students have been wonderful about wearing masks as required and are getting back into the on-campus routines of the past.

Progress Reports and PowerSchool Mobile App

Progress reports were sent home last Thursday, Sept 16th, and have student access codes and password information at the bottom. If you have not had time to go through the process of setting up your account, please do this as soon as possible. There are many things about PowerSchool that have proven to be challenging this year, but the mobile app that has been made available to parents is AMAZING.

Click here for the directions if you did not receive them a couple of weeks ago. Once you've created your account, PowerSchool Mobile app is what will give you easy access to your student’s grades, attendance, missing work, etc…, so please download the app to your phone after you’ve created your account on a desktop or laptop computer.

Schoology

Teachers will continue to post work in Schoology for students to access, but you will need to have access to PowerSchool to monitor grades, missing or late assignments, and attendance. The grading feature in Schoology is not accurate and does not communicate with PowerSchool at this time, so teachers will be entering grades only into PowerSchool. Teachers may still choose to grade assignments in Schoology, but the averages in that platform are not the official grade. The official grade is found in PowerSchool, so please create your account in order to access accurate information.
