Easter message for you
'Learning and growing in the love of God.' (1 John 4:16)
Wishing you a very happy Easter from all of the school staff.
Message from Mr Richardson
Due to technological gremlins yesterday afternoon we were unable to join together for our Easter Service. Your children were patient and a credit to you all. (A special thanks to Albert, Chloe, Martha, Amber, the children in Class 3 at Wetwang and Mrs Cousins.) Here are the words which I intended to use, which I had to modify somewhat. I want to share them with you here...
"Good afternoon. It is lovely to see you all again and to join together in a special Easter Service.
I’ve seen all of the children this morning, but I’d like to reiterate the message that I gave you earlier.
We’ve been through a topsy turvy year and now we reach the Easter holidays. The school year is 2/3 of the way through and when we all return it will be the Summer Term. Where has the time gone?
As a Federation we have a vision, ‘Learning and growing in the love of God.’ I have certainly seen examples of this being lived out every day. Thank you.
Everyone has put in lots of effort and tried their best. You have all been so enthusiastic about your learning and you have made our job as teachers a pleasure. We never doubted that you would be anything other than amazing.
Before I hand over to the children and Reverend Jacki I would like to thank you for being you – fabulous individuals who bring joy to our school. I’d also like to thank the staff and governors for their tireless efforts in helping you to be happy and succeed. I’d also like to thank the parents and carers for all they have done this year with home schooling and all that they continue to do.
Finally, I’d like to thank Revd. Jacki for her love, warmth and fun, which brightens even the gloomiest day like a beacon."
Happy Easter
Mr Richardson

The meaning of Easter - a final thought
"I wonder...What is your biggest question about the story of Easter?"
