Weekly Update

We had our first full week of school, and had some tired kiddos by Friday afternoon. The first Kids Night Out was a popular event, it was reported about 85 students took part in activities. Please remind students to take advantage of FREE breakfast in the morning upon arrival. They can start their day with a full belly and bring a piece of fruit back for morning or afternoon snack.

Students settled in with their new schedules, learning expectations for each class. They are full of chatter in hallways and the cafeteria. We appreciate students in extracurriculars reporting directly to the HS Library to check-in before traveling to other classrooms to work with teachers 10th Period.

We will be testing our automated system beginning Monday.

Families will be alerted daily at 9:15 if their student is absent.

Please bare with us as we worth through this process.

Reminder: send in a note when your student is absent.

We have gathered digital resources for the school year, and have included an opportunity for families to provide online signatures and online acknowledgment.

We recognize this method doesn't always work for our family needs and will be happy to share paper copies and sign-offs to any family that prefers the hard copy to peruse. Please contact the Main Office.

We will be utilizing the "ROOMS" platform as our District Communication tool for this School Year.

Teachers, Coaches, and Main Office Staff will use this to push out information to our families as well as receive two way communication back and forth to creating lasting home to school relationships with our PHCS Families.

The building opens at 7:30 Daily.

Students UPK- Grade 6 go to the Cafeteria until 7:50

Students in Grades 7-12 go to the Auditorium until 7:50.

Parent Pick-Up is at the side door.
