Reminders
Ramadan Mubarak
"Dear Quest Community. As the holy month of Ramadan approaches (February 17, through March 19, 2026), we want to wish our Muslim families a peaceful and blessed month. In support of those who are fasting, our Nutrition Services Department offers our students a “Grab & Go” bag of food at the end of each school day. Please, put your name on the roster at the front desk in advance so the kitchen can plan accordingly. “Ramadan Mubarak to all who are celebrating!"
No Cupcakes in the Classroom, Please
We love to celebrate your children and the day they were born, but we do have many students with food allergies that are contained in the usual celebratory food options like cupcakes and cookies.
In order to make sure all our students can partake in your child's celebratory day, please consider other ways to celebrate your child's special day with their classmates. Click here for idea options.
Students being Picked Up Late
The office closes at 3:15 pm and we understand that sometimes circumstances happen that make us late to meetings, pick ups, etc. but being late everyday to pick up your students can be an issue we will have to address. You can help us by:
- Reaching out to Boys and Girls Club to see if they have capacity to sign up your student.
- Reminding your student if they are signed up for B&G Club, they must go. They cannot roam the halls or hang out outside or in the lobby without adult supervision.
Student safety is our priority so lets partner in making sure your students are safe after school.
No Cell Phone Policy
Students may have their phones on before the school day until 7:45 AM (first bell) 9:00 AM on Late Start Wednesdays. At that time, phones must be turned off and stored in backpacks or lockers. Wireless earbuds are not allowed. If a teacher needs students to listen to a video, wired earbuds or headphones will be provided or students are welcome to bring their own. Please read our
**Please note: Students should not be calling parents directly to be picked up due to illness. They must go through the clinic to be seen. Nurse Golden will determine if the student is in need of being picked up. Students going home without authorization from Nurse Golden will be considered an Unexcused Absence.

There is no study hall before games, so students will need to register for Boys and Girls Club if they need after school care, they can take the bus to away games, but will need to be picked up at away games. I will send out more information when all registrations are in. - Coach Natalie Johnson

Free Summer Camp for Girls
Career Week for GIRLs
3 Weeks in June that can change a lifetime!
The HOYA Foundation started Career Week for GIRLs to encourage more young women to pursue careers in transportation and construction. Why? Because only 11% of the construction workforce is women. That fact carries economic implications and substantial opportunities.
Over one week, girls – ranging from 13 to 23 years old – make five stops to engage with women, ask questions and tour work sites. Each company puts together a day long insight into their company and into the industry.
Wondering if this is a good option for your female students?
Here is a quote from a mother and a school counselor:
Five Days Can Change a Life
There are three weeks in June: June 1-5, June 8-12 or June 22-26
There is no cost to those girls that are selected.
The application is open online HERE
Want to hear from the GIRLs? Watch this video from last year’s Career Week for GIRLs

Updates
This weather! Frequent updates are being provided from the Colorado Dept of Public Health and Environment and then national health departments with alerts about flu, RSV, strep throat, measles, and GI diseases. Please remind your children to wash their hands often, cover their mouths (with their elbow), drink lots of water, and use chapstick.
A reminder about classroom celebrations. Quest has numerous children with chronic diseases, life-threatening allergies, life-shortening diseases, food selections limited by religious or cultural reasons, and more. Please do not bring food treats. I do not read labels. This falls into legal constraints due to the massive list of ingredients.
Please let me know how I can help your children.
