Student Led Conferences - THIS WEEK!

This WEDNESDAY is Student Led Conferences! Our students are so excited to share their learning with you! Please remember this will be an early dismissal day (12:00) and then conferences are any time between 12:30-7:15. Please see the information below!

Volunteer Procedures

All volunteers must be screened prior to helping in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or other activities. In order to be approved, you must have your license scanned in the office first and then turn in a volunteer form. Approval can take a few weeks so please turn in your volunteer form in early! Once approved, you are approved for 3 years.

Pick Up/Drop Off Procedures

Please take a look at the Do's and Don'ts listed below for ensuring that our parking lot is safe for students and families. By following the directions listed, we will have smooth drop off and pick up.

Please remember that if you do not plan to park, your child needs to be ready to leave your car as soon as the doors open.

Fun with Family and Friends!

We have some very excited activities coming up at the end of September and October with our Springfield Family and Friends. More details are coming but we wanted to make sure you have these dates on your calendar:

Week of Sept. 23- We will celebrate MCHS Homecoming with Dress Up Days
Friday, Oct. 3 - We will march in the MCHS Homecoming Parade! All Springfield Families are encouraged to participate.
Friday, Oct. 24 - Springfield Trick or Treat Night

Safety Reminders

We are committed to ensuring our students are safe at school. With this in mind, please remember the following:

Please enter and exit through the front door only.
Please push the button at give your name and purpose of visit when asked.
Once entering the building, please go immediately to the office.

Absences & Dismissal Plans

If your child is going to be absent, please call the office by 9:00 AM. If you do not reach someone, please leave a message.

Please remember to call by 1:30 if you have a change in dismissal plans - i.e. riding the bus instead of being picked up. After 1:30, we cannot guarantee that the student and teacher will be able to get the information.
