FULLER FAMILY NEWS
From the Principal's Desk
Fuller Families,
We have an exciting week ahead at Fuller! First, we want to send a very happy birthday to two amazing Chaparrals—Ms. Secolo on Monday and Ms. Ceaser on Tuesday!
On Tuesday, we will honor and celebrate our nation's heroes during our Veterans Day Assemblies. PK–2nd grade will gather at 9:00 AM, and 3rd–5th grade will join at 9:45 AM. Our 3rd grade students will proudly perform at both assemblies—what a special moment for our school community.
Wednesday is Picture Retake Day, and on Thursday we will participate in World Kindness Day, a wonderful reminder of the power of kindness in our classrooms and community. Also on Thursday, our 4th grade students will attend their field trip to the UNT Elm Fork Education Center for a day of learning and discovery.
Looking ahead, our Fuller Elementary Literacy Night will be from 5:30 to 7:30 on Tuesday the 18th. Be looking for more info coming soon on this exciting event!
It’s going to be a great week at Fuller—thank you for your continued support and partnership!
Remember, We are Fuller—we are Family!
Thank you,
Nathan Smith

Attendance
Please remember our campus goal is a 95% attendance rate. We want to see every child, every day.
Absences and excuse notifications should be sent to sharrison@aubreyisd.net OR alaster@aubreyisd.net
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance. Per TEA, ADA time is 9:00AM, any student that arrives after 9:00AM, will be counted absent for the entire day of school. Tardy period is from 7:35-8:59AM.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
For attendance questions:
