The exam schedule is provided below:

Senior Exam Opt Out List - Sent Via Email
The Senior Exam Opt Out List has been made available to staff and students! It was shared electronically so have your Senior check their email so they are aware of the classes in which they are/are not expected to take their exam. There is an appeal process that students can utilize if there is a question on if exams should be taken or not. We have been and will continue to remind students that the exam opt out policy is a reward, not something they are entitled to. As a reminder, the opt out criteria are listed below:
- Must have no more than 2 absences and a B or better in the class
OR
- Must have no more than 3 absences and a B+ or better in the class
More information on the Senior Exam Opt Out Policy can be found here.
Senior Events This Week!
Mr. Grabowski will be sending a communication to all Seniors and their families this week outlining everything that will be taking place between now and Graduation Day. Information on this week's events is also provided below for planning purposes:
- Senior Sunset will occur at the BHS Stadium on Thursday, May 28th from 8 - 10 pm. Students are encouraged to bring blankets and yard games. All food and drinks will be provided for our Seniors. At this point in time, all volunteer and donation opportunities have been accounted for. If your Senior is on the fence about attending, they won't want to miss it. Every year we hear from our Seniors how much they enjoy this event.
- Cap and Gown Distribution will take place on Friday, May 29th. Pick up will start at 8:30 am and is staggered by last name. The full schedule for cap and gown distribution can be found here.
- The Senior Walk will take place on Friday, May 29th. It will kick off at 9:45 am as our Seniors will loop through the building one more time, through halls lined with their teachers, underclassmen, and parents. The walk will finish with students heading out to the BHS Stadium for the Senior Picnic.
- The Senior Picnic will take place in the BHS Stadium following the Senior Walk (approximately 10:30 am). BHS Administration will be grilling hot dogs for our students. We will also have chips and bottled water for our students, with dessert being donated by our BHS staff.
- The Senior Elementary Walk will provide an opportunity for our Seniors to return to their elementary schools and walk the halls of the building where they began their school journey. On Friday at approximately 11:30 am, we will have busses take students to their designated elementary school (students received a sign up for this via email). We will take a group picture and then participate in a walk through the building, with hallways lined by teachers and elementary school students. This event brings back all of the memories for our Seniors and is something both our students and the elementary school students really enjoy! As a reminder, the elementary walk is a student-only event.
Senior Yard Signs - Ordered from PTO
If you ordered a Senior Yard Sign as part of the fundraising efforts for the Senior All Night Party, they have been delivered to BHS. Students can pick up these signs from the Main Office. They can be picked up before school, after school, or during lunch time.

Senior All Night Party Volunteer Sign Up - Volunteers Still Needed
The Senior All Night Party Volunteer Sign Up is here! It is sure to be another great night for our graduating Seniors and our volunteers always enjoy themselves as they give our Seniors a send off to remember! If you are interested in volunteering, the link to the sign up can be found here.
As always, you do not have to be a Senior parent to volunteer. The Senior All Night Party Committee welcomes underclassmen parents! It's a great way to get involved and see what it is all about. Some underclassmen parents are going to have to step up to take this party over if it is going to continue for future classes. The entire Senior All Night Party Committee Board has their youngest children graduating this year, which is also the case for the majority of the committee chairs as well. If you think you are interested in taking this on, please feel free to reach out to me and I can connect you with the appropriate individuals to discuss with further.
4th Quarter Exam Schedule (Underclassmen)
As you prepare for the end of the year, keep in mind that the 4th Quarter Final Exam Schedule for the underclassmen differs from the exam schedule for the first three quarters and also from the exam schedule for Seniors.
Underclassmen will take two exams each day, with a study period provided for each exam. A full copy of the 4th Quarter Exam Schedule can be found here.
Summer School Information - Registration Now Open!
Summer School Registration is now open! The registration form for this year's summer school program can be found here.

All students who successfully complete their summer classes will earn a letter grade. This grade will be reflected on the student's high school transcript and is figured into their GPA.
Students can take up to 2 classes. Administrative approval is required to take additional classes.
End of Year Medication Pick Up Reminder
Please see the message below from our school nurse:
YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR STUDENT'S MEDICATION!
Medication(s) must be picked up by a parent/guardian by the end of the school day on (or before) June 11th. All remaining medication will be properly disposed of.
Reminder for Next School Year:
If your student will require medication during the 2026/2027 school year, a new Medication Authorization Form or a new Action Plan needs to be completed. You can find the link to these Health Forms and Action Plans here.
*If your student has a chronic medical condition that may result in an emergency situation (Seizures, Anaphylactic Allergies, Type 1 Diabetes, Asthma, etc.), please inform your student's school and ensure you have an up to date medical plan on file prior to the start of the 2026/2027 school year. A new plan is required on a yearly basis or if any changes are made to the plan throughout the year.
Have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Information for Current Juniors - Future Senior Parent Meeting Info (6/8)
We know some of our current Juniors (and maybe their parents) are getting nervous about all things Senior Year that are coming up and how to navigate that process. With this in mind, Mrs. Caverly and I will be hosting a Future Senior Parent Meeting on Monday, June 8th at 6 pm in the BCPA. We will be going over much of what you can expect to try to help minimize any anxiety that may currently be present. We hope to see you there!
Prospective New Families Newsletter
You may or may not be aware, but the enrollment and school of choice windows are now open for the 2026-27 school year! It is important to keep our enrollment steady, or even increasing to allow us to maximize our offerings for our students and set them up for future success. If you know of anyone who will be new to BHS next year or who may be considering BHS as an option for enrollment next year, we have an excellent resource you can share with them. It is provided below. Also, feel free to connect them with us if they have any questions or are looking to set up an opportunity to tour the building!
Senior All Night Party Support - Amazon Wishlist Link Provided
As mentioned above, we will be holding the annual Senior All Night Party (SANP) on Saturday, June 6th from 10 pm to 4 am. All students will receive raffle tickets with the purchase of their ticket to the party. They can use these tickets to enter to win a wide variety of prizes, ranging from gift cards, to bedding, dorm room essentials, electronics, and more! Our SANP Raffle Committee has been hard at work gathering raffle prizes that our students will enjoy. In addition to purchasing prizes, they also rely on the donation of items to maximize the number of winners each year.
Requested donations of items can be found on the Senior All Night Party Committee's Amazon Wishlist. The link to their Amazon Wishlist can be found here. Thank you in advance for considering donating to this year's Senior All Night Party.

LACASA would love to have our students volunteer with them this summer. LACASA Collection, a charity resale boutique, has a particular need for assistance with processing and sorting donations, preparing items for the resale, and even photographing items for their eBay store. No experience is required and they’re happy to provide documentation for NHS, scouting, or whatever a student may need. It’s a great setting for either individuals or groups looking to volunteer together. More information, including contact information can be found here.
