SAT, October 20th

Registered seniors will take the SAT on Tuesday, October 20th. To help students prepare and perform their best, please note the following requirements:

Arrival and Testing Locations

Students must arrive by 7:15 AM and report directly to their assigned testing room. Room assignments will be posted in the cafeteria the day before the exam.

What to Bring

  • District-issued laptop and charger (ensure the device is fully charged before arrival)
  • Water bottle and small snack for the break

Before Exam Day

Encourage your student to get plenty of rest the night before so they arrive rested, focused, and ready to do their best.

We are proud to support our seniors as they demonstrate their hard work and move forward with their college and career goals.

PSAT Testing: October 21st and 22nd

All Turner 10th-grade students will take the PSAT on October 21st. All 11th-grade students will take the PSAT on October 22nd. The PSAT prepares students for the SAT and helps juniors qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program and other scholarship opportunities.

Exam Details

The PSAT is computer-based, and students will have access to the DESMOS calculator. Students may bring their own College Board-approved hand-held calculators instead. A list of acceptable calculators is available here.

This test is offered free to all 10th and 11th-grade students. If you prefer your student not participate, please contact Mrs. Joy Brown-Johnson at brownjohnsonj@pearlandisd.org.
