What are Sibshops?

For the adults who run them and for the agencies that sponsor them, Sibshops are evidence of their loving concern for the family member who will have the longest-lasting relationship with a person who has a disability. However, for the kids who attend them, Sibshops are lively, pedal-to-the-metal events.

The Sibshop curriculum is used throughout the United States and Canada and in Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Argentina, Ecuador, Iceland, Ireland, England, Italy, Malta, Singapore, and Turkey. -www.siblingsupport.org

As a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency ending, states will soon be restarting Medicaid eligibility reviews. For many with disabilities, this means that they may lose critical Medicaid services and supports. This is what the kids are doing these days?

This is what the kids are doing these days?

Are you tired of getting unsolicited advice from family and friends about your "unruly" child? Are you dreading looking down at your phone and getting ANOTHER call from school? Are you tirelessly searching the internet for ways to help get your teen who is struggling with depression to get out of bed?

Caregiver Support Group

We have a safe place, meeting EACH MONTH, for you to connect with other caregivers who understand the things you are dealing with and find the support you need as a caregiver.

In this support group, we talk about stress, self-care, family dynamics, and more. We want to care for you as you care for your loved one(s). The last twenty (20) minutes of the meeting will focus on relaxation techniques and your loved ones are welcomed to join us at that time.
