Optimism
This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Optimism. Optimism
means that you expect the best from the future and work to achieve it.
Optimistic people have hope and confidence about the future. They believe good things will
come and stay positive even when faced with challenges. They turn obstacles into steps toward
their goals.
Optimism isn't just seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. It's about focusing on the
good in any situation, staying open to opportunities, and managing emotions. Optimistic people
make great leaders and can inspire others with their positive outlook and ability to find meaning
in difficult times.
Health & Wellness Corner
Welcome to this week’s Health & Wellness Corner! Here, we share tips and stories to
help our school community stay healthy, active, and connected.

Spinach, kale, radishes, and carrots are thriving right now. December is their version of a spa month—cool, bright, and perfectly chill. Plant a few more for fresh salads all winter long.

- Fitness Circuit: Set up stations for jumping jacks, push-ups, planks, and lunges.
Nurse's Nook: Tips, Tricks & TLC
For parents, the fall and winter may seem like an endless barrage of coughing, sneezing, fevers, and runny noses in their children. Respiratory viruses like the common cold, influenza (flu), COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) are circulating widely this time of year. And attending school or day care may make your child more susceptible to respiratory illnesses.
