We are rapidly approaching the finish line. We have one more day of State Testing (Science), then AP Testing, and then all the end-of-year celebrations.
We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and refreshing spring break. We will see everyone again on April 13.
Warmly,
Dr. Yoshihara

57th Annual Bird Calling Contest Video
For all out Bird Calling enthusiasts, the video came out well. It is a large file (>5GB) so it may ask for you to download it. Otherwise, another huge thanks to Sally Baack for keeping this tradition alive. Onto next year's planning, I'm sure.

Bridging the Bay Hosts French Students
The Bridging the Bay club hosted the French exchange students during lunch on 3/20. Students sat in groups and compared life in France with life here in Piedmont. It was a great event!

Weekly Attendance Winner: Graham S.
This week's report was run from 2/23-3/20 (4 weeks). 188 students had perfect attendance during this period. This includes:
- No tardies (of any type)
- No absences (of any type)
Congratulations to Graham for such great attendance. Please email the Principal with your Crumbl cookie choice, and I'll personally deliver it to your class.
3/30: 26 tardies to period 1 (7/6/3/10)
3/31: 16 tardies to period 1 (3/5/2/6)
4/1: 13 tardies to period 2 (1/6/5/1)
4/2: 14 tardies to period 1 (2/4/3/5)
4/3: 13 tardies to period 2 (2/5/5/1)
Overall, aside from Monday the daily tardy count was low, although no grade level reached the goal of zero tardies. Freshmen got within a few students on many days and seniors only had one tardy on two of the days. Let's see if the return week proves to be the winning one for one of our grade levels1

Lost & Found
I know we have many items left behind each day. For me, phones seem a bit more important. If this looks familiar and you want to claim it, please email the principal with a description of the screensaver. Thank you and I hope it finds its owner.
Thanks & Appreciations
- Thank You to Monseur Smith for an impressive French Induction Ceremony this past Tuesday evening. It was an elegant event for our students and families to experience.
