Sunset PTO's "One and Done" Fundraiser is coming up!
The Fun Run is a PTO sponsored event and is Sunset School’s "one and done" fundraiser. Students can seek flat donations or pledges per lap. Students are encouraged to run, walk, cartwheel, spin or even dance around our Fun Run course. The goal is to have FUN! Students who raise funds have the chance to enter into raffles for prizes. All funds directly support our students and Sunset classrooms with new learning materials, playground upgrades and extras, special school events for students and families, as well as classroom field trips and special activities.
Watch your student's backpacks for the Fun Run packet to come home Monday, September 16!

Who should fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch form?
All families.
Why should I fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch form?
At Sunset, funding is based on applications completed and turned in for free and reduced lunch. All forms help us!
Who sees this information?
This information is only seen at the Park 6 administrative level, teachers, staff, and principals do not see your information.
What if my student doesn’t like school lunch?
Your student does not have to eat school lunch even if you qualify. However, it WILL help our school get Title I funding for ALL students.
What if my child does not need extra learning support?
That is great! However, all children benefit because Title I funding helps the entire school by providing family nights, training opportunities, educational materials, along with additional teachers and para educators.

New Staff at Sunset!
My name is Hailey Hauck, and I'm thrilled to be joining the Title 1 team this year! This marks my eighth year in education, but my first with Park 6. As a native of Wyoming, I've had the pleasure of calling Cody home for the past three years. I am excited to support your students as they develop their literacy skills. I look forward to a fantastic year ahead and to working closely with both the students and families at Sunset!

Free and Reduced Lunch Application
We encourage all families, whether your student eats school lunch or not, to complete a free and reduced lunch application, even if you don't think you are eligible. This helps determine our Title One status which helps our teachers and provides computers and other education supplies for our students. If you didn't complete an application as part of the current student registration process, please take a few moments to complete it by clicking onto the link, http://linqconnect.com/
If it is more convenient, here is a link to the paper application, https://5il.co/21594
