Ivy & Bean Show
Our K–2 students enjoyed a wonderful performance of Ivy + Bean! The show was lively, fun, and full of energy, keeping everyone engaged from start to finish.
We were also excited to welcome students from St. Viator High School, who performed for us and made the experience even more special. It was a great opportunity for students to enjoy live theatre and share in the excitement together.
Kindergarten Show Highlights
Our Kindergarteners lit up the stage with their wonderful performance! From confident singing to joyful expressions, each child brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the show. It was heartwarming to see their hard work and practice come together so beautifully.
We were so happy to have many parents and family members join us to watch and cheer on the students—their presence made the event even more special and memorable.
A big thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for guiding and supporting the students every step of the way. We also appreciate our families for their continued encouragement and support.
The smiles, laughter, and proud moments made this show truly unforgettable!
Earth Day Walk to School
It was wonderful to see so many children choosing an eco-friendly way to start their day while enjoying the fresh air and time with friends.
This activity helped reinforce the importance of caring for our planet and making small choices that have a big impact. Thank you to all the families who supported and encouraged their children to participate.
Together, we are taking steps—literally!—toward a healthier Earth.
Art in Action: The Knit Tree
Our fourth-grade students have brought creativity outdoors with a beautiful collaborative project called The Knit Tree! Using finger knitting techniques, students wrapped the tree in colorful yarn, transforming it into a vibrant piece of community art.
This project allowed students to explore texture, pattern, and creativity while working together to create something truly unique. Each strand of yarn represents their imagination and teamwork, turning a simple tree into a joyful expression of art

Regular attendance at school is an essential part of each student’s educational experience in District 25. If your child will be absent, we ask that you report the absence using the method designated for your school, listed below.
Please notify the office if your child is absent, late, or leaving early:

If the school office has not been notified of a child’s absence by 9:05 a.m., the school will contact the parent/guardian. If they cannot be reached, the school will attempt to contact the emergency contacts listed on the student’s emergency form (included in the registration packet).
These procedures are in place to ensure families are informed each day and that all students are accounted for and safe.
Gym & Recess Participation Guidelines
Excusing Children from PE - Physical Education
Parents may request that their child be excused from Physical Education for one day due to a medical reason. Any absence beyond one day requires a physician’s note.
For elementary students, physician orders must clearly state any restrictions for both Physical Education and Recess. Students who are unable to participate in Physical Education may not participate in school-sponsored sports during that time.
