RYLA Leadership Students Honored at Rotary Club Meeting RYLA Leadership Students Honored at Rotary Club Meeting

Three MHS senior students, Layan Alwazzan, Rennice Kerebi, and Royal Sabal, were recognized at the Melissa Rotary Club on August 22 for their participation in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Training Camp. With support from the Melissa Rotary Club’s RYLA scholarships, these students attended the camp in late May, where they developed leadership and communication skills through team-building exercises and workshops. At the meeting, they shared their experiences and expressed gratitude to the Rotary members for the opportunity. These students truly embody the core values of Melissa ISD. The future is bright for these young leaders!

Give Buses the Right of Way

Our Melissa ISD Transportation Department is responsible for busing over 4,000 students across 45 different routes to serve our families. Drive Safe in School Zones

Let's prioritize the safety of our children by remembering to slow down and obey traffic laws and signs, especially in school zones. Be advised that the Melissa ISD Police Department will be helping to keep our campuses safe by enforcing traffic laws. Additionally, please remind the high school drivers in your household to prioritize safety by following traffic laws and exercising caution on their way to and from school.
