Student Spotlight
Mrs. Wilson our vice principal has selected Abi Dodd for her student spotlight. Mrs. Wilson stated that it has been a pleasure to watch Abi mature this school year. Abi's grades and attendance have improved greatly, and Abi comes to school ready to learn. I am proud of you, Abi, for the hard work you are putting in at school. Keep up the good work.
PSAT test
On Thursday, October 15th, El Camino will be offering 10th and 11th grade students the opportunity to take the PSAT test. The test offers low stakes practice by mimicking the format and digital platform of the actual SAT. For 11th grade students, the test serves as the official qualifying exam for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
In order to take the PSAT you must sign up using the attached QR code by October 9th. There will be no sign ups on the day of the test. Testing will begin at 8:30 am in the small gym. There will be no change in the bell schedule for the rest of the school on this day.
For student new to College board, you will need to use a non San Juan email to create an account. Use this link to sign up.
Any questions can be directed to Mr. Hauger chauger@sanjuan.edu
