NEWS FROM DR. COOPER NEWS FROM DR. COOPER

Dear Families,

Can you believe it's already September next week? Our character trait of the month is Responsibility. Throughout the month, all classrooms will be learning what it looks like to be responsible at home and school. At the end of the month, one student from each class will be selected to receive the Traits of a Knight award. Check out your child's Friday Folder for the Responsibility BINGO card.

Have a great weekend,

Dr. Tara Cooper

Important information for 3rd - 5th grade parents

Ipad insurance for 3rd, 4th and/or 5th grade student(s) is available if you choose to purchase it. The insurance for your student's device will not be activated until the $15 fee is paid. Please send $15 (cash or check) in an envelope to the school office marked with your child's name.

You also have the option of paying by credit/debit card. Parents may access Schoolpay by going directly to www.schoolpay.com or by clicking the “Pay Fees” button on the Fees screen in the Synergy ParentVue Application. If you click the button in ParentVue and are NOT yet registered in Schoolpay, it will take you through that process. NOTE: Online credit card transactions have a convenience fee that will be added to your total.

If you have any questions, please contact the school secretary, Michaela McCauley at 402-715-8360 or by email at mdmccauley@mpsomaha.org.

FUN RUN T-SHIRT SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE FUN RUN T-SHIRT SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE

On September 16th, we have our school's only fundraiser of the year, our Boosterthon Fun Run! Our Fun Run is a well-attended family event. Each Neihardt staff member and student will be given a shirt for the Fun Run to wear during the event and to keep. We are reaching out about sponsorship opportunities for the Fun Run t-shirts! With a sponsorship, your business logo will go on the back of the t-shirts (size is dependent on amount donated), displayed in our school newsletter, and posted on our school social media. In addition to this, more advertising will happen each time one of the 500+ shirt recipients wear these shirts outside of the Fun Run.

Boosterthon, the organization we partner with to execute the Fun Run has conducted research that shows both participation and funding both increase when the event takes place in the fall. This shift also benefits our sponsors as our students get a brand new shirt early in the fall that they continue to wear throughout the entire school year, advertising your business in a greater magnitude.

Please see the attached flyer and use the contact information listed if you are interested or to ask any questions you may have. Responses are appreciated by next Wednesday, August 20th.

Thank you for considering!
