Your Guide to the Rowe PTO
All parents and guardians of Rowe students, along with all teachers and staff, are members of the PTO. Welcome to our community!
Now that you are a member (YAY), here is your guide of how to stay connected, from upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, to important announcements and resources. Everything we do is on a volunteer basis. and we are always in need of people who would like to help make this year fun and successful. With your support, the PTO is able to fund enrichment activities, field trips, classroom supplies, snacks for our teachers, recess activity boxes, community building events, and facility improvements like the new playground fence.

Current Volunteer Opportunities
Become a Room Parent
Room Parents support teachers by coordinating volunteers, donations, and contributions and by aiding in family communication at the classroom level. They help build community through a class directory and by organizing at least one grade-wide event. The role typically requires 2–3 hours per month. More information is available here.
Interested? Please sign up to be a Room Parent for your child’s class (or children’s classes). Our goal is to have two Room Parents per class and there are still plenty of available spaces!
Recess Runners
The Recess Runners Program is a fun, active initiative where students run, jog, or walk laps around the playground loop during recess. Volunteers play a key role by supporting students during recess, tracking laps, cheering them on, and keeping the program running smoothly and safely. If you can give an hour, during the middle of the day, your presence makes a huge difference!
Enrichment Program
The PTO is excited to be continuing its before and after-school enrichment program into the 2025-2026 school year! The program will offer some exciting and enriching clubs and classes that fall outside of the school curriculum and allow our young learners to embrace their love of learning while exploring new interests in a fun, supportive and accessible environment.
The first session of this year is scheduled to begin in October. Please watch for communication from the PTO regarding the club offerings and registration information in the coming weeks!
If you might like to volunteer to run a club in a future session, or if you have any ideas, questions or feedback, please reach out to the enrichment committee at Enrichment@roweschoolpto.org.

Show your support and school spirit with a Rowe shirt, hat, or sweatshirt! We’ll be selling spiritwear at the following upcoming events:
Open House – Thursday, September 25th from 5-6 PM
Fall Conferences – Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday, November 4th

Become a Rowe Champion
Rowe Champions - A Monthly Giving Program
This year, the PTO is excited to continue Rowe Champions, a monthly sustaining donor program. The Rowe PTO supports many of the day-to-day enrichments our students enjoy by funding field trips, purchasing classroom supplies, and holding community events. Learn more about what the Rowe PTO – a 501(c)3 with an annual $30,000 budget – funds here. Please consider giving $10 per month for each student you have at Rowe, and, if you have the capacity, please consider giving an extra $10 to support another student. Become a Rowe Champion today!
With your support, the PTO is able to fund enrichment activities, field trips, classroom supplies, snacks for our teachers, recess activity boxes, the fence for the school playground, community building events, and more.
