Below you will find the superintendent's message from Friday afternoon regarding the use of derogatory and harmful language in our schools. While it would be easy to say that this is a problem at our middle and high schools, we need to be honest and acknowledge that this is also a problem at the elementary schools. We are asking that as our school community, you help us address this with your children. Talk to them about the use of this hurtful language, and encourage them to speak to an adult at school if they hear it being used. We need to continue to build our sense of belonging and ensure that it extends to all who walk through the doors at Ferson Creek. We thank you for your partnership and we know that we can do better together.

We are thrilled to celebrate our incredible teachers and staff during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, May 4–8. We have a week of travel-themed treats planned to show our staff just how "plane awesome" they are.

Information about Returning Student Registration (RSR) is now available on the District 303 website. The registration link will go live April 20. Please complete the Returning Student Registration process between April 20-May 18.

The Ferson Chess Club Tournament kicks off this Monday, May 4th! Students who advance past the first round will continue competing on Tuesday, May 5th and Thursday, May 7th. Good luck to all our players!

The end of year i-Ready diagnostic assessment is scheduled for students to take between May 4th - May 15th for elementary and middle school students. Please see the attached letter below for more information about the assessment and how to access your child's i-Ready diagnostic reports online.

At the April 27 meeting of the School Board’s Business Services Committee, D303 Leadership gave a presentation that includes a timeline of Board discussions about the D303 Communitywide Education Facilities Committee’s Final Report, which includes support for 16 facilities investments totaling an estimated $295.6 million. The presentation also includes an overview of D303’s budgeting process and strong fiscal stewardship.

The District 303 Parent/Guardian Attendance Resource Guide is officially launching on the D303 website. This comprehensive resource is organized into three sections: D303-specific attendance resources, community-based attendance resources, and general attendance information, providing families with a clear, accessible starting point for navigating attendance concerns.

It’s time for some spring cleaning! The Ferson Creek PTO is hosting a clothing drive to raise funds for our school, and we need your unwanted items. Gather up your gently used clothing and drop them off on Sunday, May 3rd to help support our Foxes! Drop off details are listed below. Every bag makes a difference for our school community.

All current orchestra students are invited and encouraged to attend the Summer Strings Camp from June 15 - 25.
