Send in Your Cans for the Can Lady Project
What is The Can Lady Project? It is an effort to demonstrate the value of recycling to kids in the community in hopes of getting them to recycle. The Can Lady collects aluminum cans collected at schools to sell them for scrap, and she uses all the money to fund grants for teachers in public schools. She has already been visiting classrooms at Sidener this week to see what teachers need.
Please send your aluminum cans to school for the Can Lady.
