School Tours and Payment Schedule
We’re delighted to let you know that our school tours have now been organised and are up on the school calendar.
To help everything run smoothly, we kindly ask that tour payments are made by 15th May. Payment links will be available next week in the Easypayments section of the school website.
We always try to keep the cost of tours as affordable as possible by choosing local places of interest, with the exception of our 6th class tour. We know this can be a busy and expensive time of year, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or need a bit of support. You can contact Sarah in the office or June, our Home School Teacher—we’re always happy to help.
Communion Reminders
Saturday 25th April marks a significant day, and we are all eagerly anticipating a truly wonderful celebration.
Please take note of the following details:
- The mass will commence promptly at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Mayfield.
- It is important that all children are seated by 10:45 a.m. to ensure a smooth start to the ceremony.
- During the mass, please keep all prayer books, bags, and personal jewellery (including chains, bracelets, watches, and rings) with you.
- We kindly request that cameras not be used during the ceremony out of respect for others' privacy. Any photos shared on social media including Whatsapp should feature only your own child.
- Following the ceremony, all pupils are invited to gather at the altar for a group photograph, should they wish to participate. They will then process down the aisle with a final song out of the church.
- The Parents’ Group has organised a 'Communion Party' in the school halla for the children in the Girls School and their families. Parking will be available in the school yard, and entry to the building is through our Main Entrance and not the Infant School Entrance.
- On Monday, pupils are asked to wear their tracksuit/uniform to school as it is a normal school day.
We extend our warmest wishes to each and every family for a happy and memorable day.
Volunteers for the Communion Breakfast
We are kindly asking for volunteers from First Class to help out at the Parents Group Communion Breakfast on
Saturday morning 25th April from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. here in the school.
This is a lovely way for First Class to get involved, as it will be their own turn to celebrate Communion next year.
If you are available to help, please fill in your name and contact number in the form sent home yesterday and return this slip to the class teacher.
Your support would be greatly appreciated!
