May 10, 2019: Update to the Update

I have been sending emails up the food chain because this new change was bothersome. Here is what I have learned today:

If a student is in 504 and is receiving an intervention, then they can be coded as both 504 and receiving intervention; however, it will result in a special error.

I have another query into TEA for more information and will let you know as soon as I have an answer.

May 9, 2019: PEIMS UPDATE

Some cloudy information about dual coding 504 students has been cleared up....a little. After reviewing the slides below, you may still have questions as to why we can't dual code students for 504 and intervention. Unfortunately, we do not have an answer. We, however, have asked the "why" question and we will let you know as soon as we have the answer. ~ Kimmie L. Conlon (RtI/MTSS Consultant) and Stephanie Aldridge (PGC/MTSS Consultant)
