Monday, May 6th marks the start of PARCC (Partnership Assessment for Readiness for College and Careers) testing for all of our students at Eastern! We know they've been working hard, learning, growing and applying their new knowledge in different and unique ways; PARCC is the benchmark that shows us what they can accomplish...

EVERY student takes PARCC - so please help us to ensure each child is...

• at school on time, every day of testing (this is critical in avoiding make-up testing; many kids find make-ups very stressful)
• focused on school and ready to show what he/she knows
• ready to do his/her best by working hard to do his/her best
• told that you will be proud of him/her for giving his/her effort and energy to doing well

If your child is unable to be at school on time, please call us so that we can attempt to make the necessary adjustments to his/her PARCC schedule. The tests are IMPORTANT as they are used to show how ready your child may be for college and careers later in life!

We would love to see 100% attendance on our PARCC days, so come to school and show what you know...
