SHANNON ES - MPR Project

Thank you for following the project updates for Shannon Elementary School through the end, and congratulations to the Shannon community on a beautiful new cafeteria that will house students for many years to come.

We appreciate all who contributed to the design process and your patience during construction. It was a joy to watch this project develop and a wonder to see the students use the new facility.

Project Scope: This project included the construction of a new multipurpose building featuring a dining area, stage, food services kitchen, serving areas, and support spaces—an investment in our community using taxpayer-funded bond dollars.

The existing portable cafeteria was removed this summer. The project also included roll-up doors for exterior access, surrounding landscaping, and infrastructure for a new garden.

We are accepting applications to join the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). The CBOC reviews bond-funded school projects and informs the public about bond expenditures and uses.
