Reminder, Parents! 📚
Your student needs meet with a Delta College counselor at least once each year to keep their educational plan, following the master agreement and on track to make sure they are enrolling in the right classes.
Please have your student call (209) 954-5151, ext. 6276 to schedule your appointment.
If your student needs help scheduling, an appointment please ask them to schedule an appointment with me.
Please take a few minutes to check in with your student and ask them to:
✅ Check their Delta grades
✅ Make sure assignments and homework are being completed
✅ Check Canvas regularly for upcoming work and deadlines
📌 One important reminder: I do not have access to your student’s Delta College info, Canvas account, or college records. Because Delta is a college, students are responsible for monitoring their own college information and communicating with their professors.
We’re off to a great start! Keep encouraging your students, remind them that it’s okay to ask for help, and celebrate those small wins along the way. ❤️
IS/VRA Visitor Policy
Dear Parents and Guardians,
To keep our students and staff safe, we kindly remind all visitors to follow our school check-in procedures. Whenever you are on campus grounds—whether you are walking your student to class after the morning bell, dropping off a lunch or assignment, or volunteering—you must check in at the front office first to receive a visitor’s name badge.
If you are on campus without a visible badge, our staff will direct you back to the front office. We deeply appreciate your partnership and cooperation in keeping our campus secure! Below you will find the LUSD policy on visitors.
BE PRESENT
The district has been working hard to enforce the "no phone zone" policy at every site and we want to ensure we are supporting as well. Please remind your students to put away their cell phones as they enter campus. We will kindly remind your student to put their phone away if they are seen however if they are seen again we will implement consequences.
