FALCON FLYER

The MISSION of Fairview Elementary is to educate the WHOLE child to ENSURE success in SCHOOL and LIFE.

Please take a moment to review the following traffic procedures listed below to help us keep our students and families safe during arrival and dismissal:

• Do not drive on the wrong side of the road on Dallas St. to pass cars waiting to turn in the driveway. You could be ticketed by Fort Smith Police if you do so.
• Take turns letting people turn into the driveway and exit the driveway so traffic can flow smoothly.
• It is a state law that no cell phones may be used while in the school driveway.
• Speeds in the school driveway during drop off/dismissal should be no more than 5 miles per hour.
• If you are walking your child across the crosswalk at arrival, please park in a parking spot to avoid blocking traffic.
• The driveway is one-way. Please do not enter through the exit lanes on the east side of the drive.
• Exit lanes are left lane-left turn only and right lane-right turn only. At dismissal, be sure to select the correct lane to avoid crossing lanes when exiting.
