DMS Community Newsletter 25/26
Sem. 2, Week 9 - March 1, 2026
✨ Regular Schedule: Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. Early Release Wed.
Dear Defender Families,
We have entered a new month — welcome to March! The Progress Report grading period ends on March 13, so please encourage students to stay focused and finish strong.
As you plan ahead, Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 12 from 3:00–5:00 PM. We ask that you bring your student with you to conferences to be part of the conversation and plan as we all work together to support our students. In addition, March 13 will be a modified day, with student dismissal at 12:10 PM.
Our 8th graders will be meeting with CHS counselors on March 5–6, and TVHS counselors will be here on March 6 to select their classes for high school next year. This is an exciting milestone as they begin preparing for the next chapter of their academic journey!
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
– Your Defender Team
P.S.: Work is being done at the Long Canyon Creek Park from 2/9/26 - 05-04-26. Parking may be impacted during this time. Please plan accordingly.
