Rocky Point Weekly Update
March 2nd-6th
Hello Rocky Point Families
We highly appreciate student involvement as we celebrated “I Love to Read” this past week. We ended the week with a “Read and Bloom” performance by Zak Morgan and our students were an amazing audience for our guest! Please note the end of our 3rd quarter ends this Friday, March 6. Students should strive to turn in all missing assignments in order for their grades to reflect their knowledge and efforts.
Please remember there is no school for students on Tuesday. March 3, due to the optional teacher workday. We look forward to seeing all families for breakfast, our 4th and 5th grade Spring Performance and our Family Literacy event on Wednesday, March 4 from 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.

Bus Ridership for the 2026-2027 School Year
Please help us as we prepare our routing for the 2026-27 school year. On Thursday, February 26, students came home with a parent letter from our PCS Transportation Department. Each letter contains the student’s current bus stop information. If the stop location fields are blank, it means the student is not currently assigned to a bus. If there are no changes to be made, we are requesting for each parent/guardian to circle all “YES”s on the letter. All “YES” forms must be turned in to the administrative office of the school no later than April 17th, 2026. If changes do need to be made, please circle “NO”s (as directed and written in the letter) and proceed to completing the Google form and update your transportation needs for the upcoming school year. The Google form is now accepting responses! Link: 2026-27 School Bus Ridership Form
Field Day Volunteers Needed
Mr. Smith, our RPE Physical Education teacher, is looking for volunteers for this year’s field day to be held on Thursday, April 2. If you are able and interested in volunteering for this year’s field day event, please complete this form. We will also be sending home a paper form that you can complete and return with your child to school to indicate your interest as well.

Ronald McDonald Pop Tab Challenge Continues
A surgery date has been set for one of our very own Rocky Point Elementary family members! Please consider saving and sending in all of your tabs from soda, food and pet food cans before April 2nd in order for us to send them all with the family to the Ronald McDonald House as they head there during spring break. Again, collecting can pop tabs supports the operating costs of providing a home away from home for families with sick children. Let’s work together to collect as many pop tabs as possible!
