25-26 Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Steve Sisk, our 25-26 Teacher of the Year! From Coach McCutcheon: "Coach Sisk is a wonderful teacher and a great coach. His heart, compassion, and commitment to his students is truly inspiring to see on a daily basis. He meets every student exactly where they are—championing their strengths, understanding their challenges, and believing in their potential without hesitation. His students and players know they are valued, supported, and capable because he shows them so through his patience, advocacy, and unwavering encouragement."
100 Black Men Lunch Buddy Project
The 100 Black Men Lunch Buddy program is in partnership with Richland County School District One. The mission of the 100 Black Men of Greater Columbia is to enhance the quality of life for citizens within our community, with a special emphasis on our youth, particularly in areas such as mentoring, education, economic and financial literacy, health, and wellness. The program meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month at Brookland Baptist Church. The luncheons provide opportunities for our students to have lunch with successful men from the Greater Columbia area. The men share valuable lessons with the students that will be beneficial to their social, cultural, and intellectual growth. See photo from this Wednesday's group.
“Do You Want to Build a Musical?” — Audition for Frozen!
This winter, A.C. Flora Theatre invites all students to let it go and take the stage in our Spring production, Disney’s Frozen, the Musical!
