π¬ A Note from Mr. Zach DeVito
Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
We had a fantastic week celebrating Hope Week with our dress-up days. Thank you to all students and staff who participated and helped create a positive, unified campus culture. With two weeks remaining before Spring Break, this is an excellent time to review grades and reflect on progress. We encourage families to check Skyward, have conversations about goals, and support students in finishing the grading period strong.
Congratulations to our Cheer Squad for earning 1st place in the Game Day Division at their competition this past weekend. Your dedication and school pride were on full display.
The Jones Legends Dance Team also delivered a strong performance at their most recent competition, earning several top dance awards. We are proud of the commitment, discipline, and talent demonstrated by these students as they continue to represent our campus with excellence.
We also extend our congratulations to the Jones Middle School Mock Trial Team for an outstanding performance at the Middle School Mock Trial Tournament. Under the leadership of Ms. Vengrow and community volunteer Mr. West, our team earned 2nd place out of 23 competing schools and brought home six individual awards. Individual awards are presented each round of competition, and our students earned recognition in every single round.
Next week, we kick off tennis and track season. We look forward to seeing our student-athletes represent our campus with excellence both on and off the field. We also have band, choir, and orchestra will be competing performing in the UIL competition over the next two weeks!
Have a great weekend. Go Jags! π
