TRANSITION DAY/FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

TRANSITION DAY FOR 9th GRADE STUDENTS:

For the first time n MCPS history, we will be holding "Transition Day" on Monday, August 10 for all 9th Grade students. This is considered a required school day for our 9th grade students, but may not look like a "normal" school day.

The CHS Team has big plans to help welcome our 9th grade students, get them acclimated with our school building, meet our teachers and staff, learn procedures and protocols, get to know one another, and much more! We are excited about this opportunity and look forward to the strong foundation we can build with the Class of 2030!

Additional information will be sent out later this week to 9th Grade families regarding "Transition Day" at CHS.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS:

We will welcome ALL STUDENTS into the building on Tuesday, August 11! Doors will open at 7:35 am!
