Thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend yesterday’s meet against IOST. Even though the weather prevented official scoring, your presence and energy showed exactly what Cuda spirit looks like. As this was our final Dual Meet of the season, we close it out UNDEFEATED — an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work of our swimmers, coaches, and families.

This season has been great! We closed out the regular season strong and are at the top of the Division leaderboard. Now it’s time for the final stretch—Divisionals.

What is Divisionals?

Divisionals is our version of the playoffs. Unlike invitationals, where swimmers must meet specific qualifying times, Divisionals is open to all swimmers who have participated in at least two meets this season. It’s the only meet where we compete against all five teams in our Division at once, and it’s always a high-energy, team-focused way to wrap up the season.

Each swimmer can swim up to three individual events and two relays, regardless of past times. It’s a chance to celebrate the season, show off the progress made, and finish strong—together.

We can’t wait to see the full team come together one last time this season. This is always a fun and memorable event—we hope your swimmer will be a part of it.

Format:

We will run two pools simultaneously—one for girls and one for boys. Heat sheets, set-up maps, and parking details will be emailed by Friday evening prior to the meet.

Registration Timeline:

Entries Open: Today, June 7 at 8:00 PM

Entries Close: Tuesday, June 9 at 8:00 PM

Please note after registration closes, we will not be able to add any swimmer, so please do not forget to register in time.

If your swimmer is not participating, please RSVP as “Not Attending” so we can plan relays and lane assignments appropriately.

Volunteer Information:

Volunteer Sign-Ups Open: Today, June 7 at 8:00 PM

Volunteer Sign-Ups Close: Thursday, June 11 at 8:00 PM

If your swimmer is participating in Divisionals, you are required to volunteer, and this commitment is in addition to your four regular season shifts.

Special Note on Food:

Jason's Deli will once again be offering lunch service at Red 1 Divisionals on June 13th. Families, volunteers, and friends are encouraged to pre-order box lunches using below link: https://gameday.jasonsdeli.com/app/events/Y4D4ZKM6T7

The deadline to pre-order is Friday June 12th @ 5pm Central Time

Jason's Deli is offering the same box lunch options as last year. In addition to pre-ordered lunches, they will have canned sodas, bottled water, chips, cookies, and additional boxed lunch sandwiches available for purchase on-site while supplies last

Swimmers, please arrive at 6:30am to check in at the table next to the volunteer check in.

Coach Mercedes will begin scratches at 7:15am. If you have not been checked in at that time, your child will be scratched from their events.

The meet will start at 8:30am.

Registration is now open for our end of season Invitational meets. These meets are special end of season meets for swimmers who have made qualifying times.

Registration opened on June 6th and will close June 13th at 6:00pm. This is a HARD DEADLINE- NO EXTENSIONS. Please register early so we can finish entries, confirm payments, and build relays before the host's deadline.

Important Steps:

1. Register to enter one or both meets and select your swimmer's events (remember it is not recommended to swim at both Ponderosa due to travel and overlapping sessions. Proceed with caution- there are no refunds if you register and cannot attend)

2. Fill out the bonus cut form if applicable (NEW THIS YEAR- see email for details)

3. Pay on our team square site (remember, the price is per EVENT, so if your swimmer is swimming multiple events, adjust the number you're adding to your cart) Swimmers will not be entered into the meet without payment.

4. Celebrate with your swimmer!! These meets are exciting and a big accomplishment! We are so excited to show our Cuda spirit and represent the Bridgeland Barracudas at both meets!

All swimmers need fins for practice daily.

Fins can be purchased on Amazon or at D&J Sports.

As swim team practices begin, we need everyone's assistance in order to make efficient use of time and have a successful season as a result.

• Swimmers, coaches, volunteers, and approved current board members are the only people allowed on deck. Parents may not cross the rope barriers.
• No photography behind the starting blocks.
• The pool, activity center and surrounding areas are no smoking (including vape) areas.
  
• Alcoholic beverages may not be openly consumed in and around the pool area, including Festival Park and the Activity Center.
  
• BBST has a zero tolerance policy for bullying. Any behavior determined by the Board of Directors to be bullying will result in the dismissal of that swimmer or family from the team without a refund. This includes swimmers, siblings, parents and other adults and children at practices, pep rallies, special events, or meets.
  
• Pets are not allowed in the pool area (except for Service Animals wearing the proper identification).
