A few reminders:
No school Friday & Monday, enjoy your long Memorial Day Weekend

Used Uniform Sales:
We are looking for a volunteer to run the 2025 -2026 school year sales. We typically have a sale at the beginning of August to prepare for the start of school. Please email me if you would like to help.
OLV Knights of Columbus:
KOC is looking to start the Cor Program Initiative. The mission of the Cor program is to form and strengthen men in faith and virtue through a brotherhood rooted in prayer, formation and fraternity.

The Educational Choice for Children Act:
This nationally sponsored act was reintroduced in the US House and Senate. This Act is similar to PA’s popular EITC tax credit scholarships, the funds could be used to pay for tuition, tutoring, special needs services, and more. Please consider following the link below to encourage legislators to pass this act.
Calling all volunteers! We will have lunch for all volunteers after Field Day. If you are not able to help for Field Day, please stop by at 11:00 for lunch.
Today, classes took a minute to thank Mr. Stec and also wish him Happy Birthday. National SRO Day is in February, but we like to recognize him in May. You don’t have to look to hard to see the impact Mr. Stec is in our school. When I tour families, I start by saying, ‘we have the safest school in the county’. Which is 100% true. We are the only elementary school that has a dedicated SRO.
Finally, we will say goodbye to a few teachers. As every school experiences, teachers come and go for various reasons. Ms Stone, Mr. Daley and Mr. Gunter, are moving on. We thank them for their time at OLVCS, we will miss them and wish them well on their next steps!

What: OLVCS Senior Parade
When: Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 - 2:00pm
Where: Our Lady of Victory Catholic School
Attire: Please bring your cap and gown
This parade celebrates their achievements as OLVCS alumni and their time spent at OLVCS while looking forward to the bright futures that await them all.
Please plan to check in at the main office by 1:45pm to ensure a timely start to the festivities.
We eagerly anticipate seeing all of the graduating seniors there and celebrating together. Please help us spread the word!
Our OLVCS Middle School Track athletes gave it their all at the Altoona Championship Meet on May 12th!
They represented in the:
Girls 4x800
Girls 4x100
Boys 4x400
1600m & 3200m
The team celebrated several personal records and loads of Crusader grit. Congratulations to all!
OLV Preschool, where learning, faith and fun come together!
- Children at OLV Preschool are taught by highly qualified teachers in a play-based environment.
- Curriculum includes:
- social/emotional skills
- pre-reading skills and language readiness activities
- math and science readiness activities
- participation in music, arts and daily physical activities
- learning about their faith in fun and memorable ways
- Before and after school care is available.

OLV Preschool is currently looking for morning teachers and morning and afternoon aides. If hired to join our preschool staff, you receive a tuition discount for your children enrolled in OLVPS and OLVCS!
- Work in the mornings and have the rest of the day for personal responsibilities.
- If you only want to work in the afternoons, join our ESP (Extended School Program) staff.
- We have an amazing staff and wonderful environment. It is a great place to work!
