Help our library grow...
Our Amazon Wish List helps us add exciting new books to our library, giving our students more opportunities to discover new stories, explore new worlds, and fall in love with reading! Happy Sunday, Cougar Families!
November is here, and we’re enjoying a little breather after such a busy and exciting October! We have a few things coming up, along with some great ways to continue supporting our Crestview community.
Restaurant Night at Sharky’s — Thursday, November 5!
Take a night off from cooking and join us at Sharky’s in Simi Valley on Thursday, November 5, from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM! They’ll be donating 20% of fundraiser sales back to Crestview PTA, so grab lunch, dinner, or both and help support our school!
Fund Photos — Holiday Photos That Give Back!
With the holidays right around the corner, now is the perfect time to book those family photos! Our ongoing PTA Fund Photos fundraiser offers 15-minute sessions for $50, including two digital images, with the entire session fee benefiting Crestview PTA. It’s a wonderful way to capture some family memories while giving back to our school!
Mark Your Calendars — Veterans Day
A quick reminder that there will be no school on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. We extend our gratitude to all the veterans and military families in our Crestview community for their service and sacrifice.
Wishing everyone a wonderful start to November!
Have a great week, Cougars!

*For the safety and well-being of all students, please be reminded that students may not carry medication at any time. School office personnel are not permitted to dispense any medication without a doctor’s note. This includes both prescription medications and over-the-counter items such as aspirin, cough drops, skin creams, and similar products. If your child requires medication during school hours and a doctor’s note has not been provided, a parent or guardian must come to the office to administer the medication to their child.
*Neighborhood Parking Reminder: As a reminder, please park responsibly during drop-off and pick-up. Keep driveways and mailboxes clear and avoid blocking access for our neighbors. Thank you for your cooperation!
*To help keep our classrooms focused and free from distractions, we ask that students do not bring toys to school. This includes items such as fidgets, squishies, stuffed animals, and similar objects. These items can easily become lost, damaged, or disruptive during the school day. Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a positive learning environment!
*Positive attendance plays a key role in your child’s academic success and helps them stay connected to learning each day. We appreciate your support in ensuring your child arrives at school on time and attends regularly. Please note that once a student reaches 12 absences, a doctor’s note will be required in order for any additional absences to be excused. If an absence is reported by a parent but a doctor’s note is not provided, it will still be recorded in Aeries; however, it will remain marked as unexcused until documentation is received.
