At the beginning of this year, we set a goal to have 75% of our students make typical or better growth in reading! It is an ambitious goal!! At our halfway mark here are some celebrations:
- We currently have 62.2% of our students have already made their growth goals!!!!!!!
- That is higher than the previous 3 years-even at the end of the year!!!!!
- The Level Up Board is so full already and there is still so much time for growth!!
- Students who are consistently completing and returning their BLUE folders with the reading practice had higher growth than those who are not. (Parents-you are making a difference!!)
Please continue to partner with us and utilize the extra practice(BLUE Folders) for your students. It is truly helping with their growth. If you haven't been doing them regularly so far-that's ok. Just start now and let's see the changes that will occur. This coupled with the systems of our school staff and teachers will lead kids to learn and grow at levels we have never seen before!!! Go Art City!!!
A principios de este año, nos propusimos la meta de que el 75% de nuestros estudiantes lograran un progreso típico o superior en lectura. ¡Es una meta ambiciosa! A mitad de camino, aquí les compartimos algunos logros:
- Actualmente, el 62.2% de nuestros estudiantes ya han alcanzado sus metas de progreso.
- ¡Esto es más alto que en los últimos 3 años, incluso al final del año escolar!
- El tablero de logros está casi lleno y todavía queda mucho tiempo para seguir progresando.
- Los estudiantes que completan y entregan regularmente sus carpetas azules con la práctica de lectura han mostrado un mayor progreso que aquellos que no lo hacen. (¡Padres, su apoyo marca la diferencia!)
Por favor, continúen colaborando con nosotros y utilizando las actividades de práctica adicionales (carpetas azules) con sus hijos. Realmente están contribuyendo a su progreso. Si hasta ahora no las han estado haciendo con regularidad, no se preocupen. Comiencen ahora y verán los resultados. Esto, junto con el trabajo de nuestro personal y maestros, permitirá que los niños aprendan y crezcan a niveles nunca antes vistos. ¡Vamos, Art City!
