Rucker Elementary
October 12-16
Hi First Grade Families!
Can you believe your first grader has officially finished their first quarter of 1st grade?! We are SO proud of how hard our students have worked, learned, and grown in such a short amount of time! We have loved getting to know your children and watching them learn, grow, and become more confident each day.
Our students have definitely earned some time to rest and recharge! We hope you enjoy the long weekend, get some extra sleep, have some fun, and spend time together. And, just to make sure you are reading this newsletter... BOOMER SOONER! We’ll be cheering on the Sooners as they take on Texas!
We are currently in need of classroom snacks for our students. If you are able to donate individually packaged snacks, we would greatly appreciate it!
As the weather begins to cool down, please make sure your child’s jacket or sweater is labeled with their first and last name. This will help us make sure those jackets find their way back home!
Thank you for your continued support! We feel so lucky to spend our days learning and growing alongside your children. We are so proud of them and excited for all that is ahead!
Love,
The First Grade Team
