Dear GAMS Families,
Fall is officially here! Before sharing a few important updates, I want to extend a huge THANK YOU for supporting our back-to-school fundraiser. Your generosity and participation directly fund our Warrior Way program and so many other initiatives throughout the school year. We are incredibly grateful for our supportive community.
Family & Educational Trips
If your family is planning a trip during the school year, please remember that an Educational Trip Form must be submitted and approved prior to your departure—preferably at least 7 days in advance. Digital forms are available on Skyward Family Access, or you can pick up a paper copy in the main office. Trip forms submitted after a trip has taken place cannot be approved, and those days will be marked as unexcused absences.

Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
We warmly invite all families to join us for our upcoming Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences! Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to collaborate on your child's growth and success. We especially encourage you to sign up if you have questions or if your student is currently struggling academically. Please review the flyer attached to this newsletter for registration instructions. If you are unable to attend during scheduled conference hours, please feel free to reach out directly to your student's teachers via email to arrange an alternate time to connect.

#BeHere Going on a trip? Turn in your Pre-Approval Form (found HERE) at least 7 days before the missed day.
Our automated system pulls from the system about 30 minutes prior to phone calls going out. So if your student comes in tardy they may get a phone call.
With the holiday season coming up, we wish to provide information about the Holiday Family Outreach Program, which is run by a non-profit organization in Adams County. The attached letter provides additional information about the program, which provides toys and a Kennie's Market gift certificate to low-income families. This program is specifically for families with children 12 years old and younger as of 12/31/26. Families must be able to participate in Toy Day on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
Please be aware that information will be coming within the next month about the Warrior Winter Wishes program, which is an opportunity for families with older children to request holiday gifts for their children. This is separate from the Holiday Family Outreach program, and families are encouraged to choose the program that best suits your needs.
To participate in the Holiday Family Outreach Program (children 12 & under), families can either:
1. Print and complete the attached form and return it to the middle school counseling center OR
2. Complete the Google form here: Holiday Family Outreach Form
The deadline to apply for participation is Thursday, November 5.
