GUE News from the Nest Week 5 BONUS

Homecoming is next week! Here is some important information regarding all of the festivities!

*If you are in charge of a large group who will be checking out for the parade (football, cheer, soccer, etc) and a representative hasn't been in contact with Ms. Sunni, please send her an email ASAP at sporter@ridgerunners.net. She has a form for parents to sign for one or two people per group to check out all students.

*When you come to check out your group, please ring the doorbell and tell them who you are here to check out. They will then send the students out to you.

*If you are checking out an individual, you will also use the doorbell to let the office know who you are checking out and they will send them out to you. Please have your ID ready if needed.

*Please be patient with us! It is a very busy day for our office staff!*

*The parade begins at 1:30. When the lead car turns onto 10th Street the students who are at school will walk with their teachers to 10th street and watch the parade from there. Parents are welcome to watch the parade with their students, but must check in through the office.

*Once all students have left the building to watch the parade, the GUE BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED until the parade passes our viewing location. You may not enter the building, or check a student in or out. This allows our entire faculty to enjoy the parade!

*GUE students do NOT attend the pep assembly at the football field after the parade, unless they have been previously checked out of school.

*Students who have checked out for the parade do not need to return to school UNLESS they need to ride the bus home.

Any questions should be directed to Ms. Sunni at 918-786-3003, ext 5 or sporter@ridgerunners.net.

We are hosting a special HOCO fundraiser! The class with the most links in their chain wins a PARTY!! Students can turn money into their homeroom teacher each day and chain links will be delivered to their classrooms to be added to the growing chain in each room. Who will be the winner?!?!

HOCO wouldn't be complete without dress up days! Help us celebrate our hometown heroes by dressing up each day!
