Principal Update

Our amazing counseling department has done it again! For the fourth year in a row, we were awarded the prestigious CREST award for counseling excellence! Only a few school counseling programs across the state are selected each year for counseling leadership and advocacy for serving students, families, and staff. CREST winners will be recognized during the annual Texas School Counselor Association (TSCA) conference, held in Feb 2023! Please send Ms. Whatley and Ms. Edwards kudos and congratulations when you see them!

Did you know that at Mills, our families represent over 30 home languages spoken and countries represented? It is truly this cultural diversity that makes Mills a great place to learn and grow.

Our PTA is bringing back the Mills Around the World event on February 4, 2023! This is an in person event in the Mills cafeteria/gym, with cultural presentations, food, song, and dance by our students and families.

In order to make this event a success, we need your time and participation! Please consider signing up to represent a country.

Thank you to Heidi Connealy, Ruckmani Ramachandran, and the Mills PTA for organizing and supporting this beautiful event! Please reach out to Heidi or Ruckmani to sign up.
