Health & Wellness Health & Wellness

As we head into the summer months, we want to remind everyone in our school community — staff, students, and families — to take time to prioritize your health and well-being.

Summer is an opportunity to recharge and reflect. It's also a chance to practice self-care, seek support when needed, and explore activities that bring joy and relaxation. Whether it's reading a book, spending time in nature, talking with a friend, or trying something new, every small step matters.

Let’s also remember that support doesn’t end with the school year. The SafeDE Application is your one-stop shop for a range of resources as well as access to a crisis text line. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to download this app (or bookmark your school’s website). If you have questions about the app, please contact Cheri Woodall in the Health and Wellness Division.

Finance and Payroll Finance and Payroll

Payroll will be switching Data Service Center over to Summer at 8am on June 23rd. You must have ALL timesheets for the 24-25 school year entered into Data Service Center no later than 4:30pm on Friday, June 20th. Once the Data Service Center has been changed to Summer, not all school year time types will be available for entry. Additionally, please do NOT submit any time for Summer until Monday, June 23rd.

Technology Technology

Explore AI Learning Opportunities!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a powerful tool in education—helping us save time, personalize instruction, and spark creativity in the classroom. Whether you're just getting started or looking to deepen your skills, there are several opportunities available to help you explore how AI can support teaching and learning located in our Continuous Learning Catalog.

As we explore the integration of AI into teaching and learning, we're guided by our Tech CSD Vision for AI: tools must be Safe, Education Focused, and Secure & Private. This means we only recommend AI platforms that provide protected access, are intentionally designed for educational use, and meet all federal and state compliance standards for student and staff data. Every tool we support has been vetted through this lens to ensure it enhances instruction while keeping our community safe and supported.

We’re also happy to announce a newly available AI tool that many staff have already started exploring and meets our above Vision for AI: Google Gemini. Gemini is now accessible for CSD staff and can be found by going to https://gemini.google.com while logged into your CSD Google account.
