Hendrickson High School

Hawk News8/7/2026Hendrickson High School

Message from Principal Grebb:

Well this is it the moment you have been waiting for. Hendrickson High School will open it's doors for the 2026-2027 school year this Wednesday, August 12th. The staff has been back this week and are so excited to start another year and build on the amazing legacy of this campus. We hope you will stop by to see the teachers on Monday night from 5 pm - 7 pm. If you are a freshman or a new student come by for Take Flight on Tuesday and 9 am. One wildly important goal this year is for all students to be on time. To be successful with that it is extremely important that you leave early. Traffic is always heavy but it will be super heavy on the first two weeks of school. We open the doors at 8:15 am so feel free to come during that time. Breakfast will be free for all students so come early and grab a bite to eat. I have included a lot of information in this newsletter with a link below to the district website where all or most of your questions will be answered. Enjoy the last weekend of summer and come ready to learn on August 12th. Hendrickson High School Soaring Above the Rest!

Schedule Changes Schedule Changes

The district deadline to make changes to electives was April 20th.

We will not be making any changes to electives unless you are mistakenly placed in a class that you already have credit for.

The only core class changes that we will be making will be moves from on-level classes to advanced or AP classes.

Changes out of advanced and AP classes will not be allowed until the fourth week of school. In order to be considered for a schedule change out of an advanced or AP class, a student must have turned in all missing work, retaken any failed tests, and attended at least three tutorials with the teacher.

In order to use the Stopfinder App, you will receive an invitation from the PfISD Transportation department. Invitations are sent out periodically to parents or guardians of students, whose Stopfinder accounts have not yet been activated.
