Thank you to everyone who came out for our Choir Banquet on Friday evening! We hope you had a wonderful evening of good food and fun!

Banquet Slideshow

Students who purchased a ticket will bring a nice change of clothes to change into after school on April 28th. We will leave to go downtown at 3:00pm to enjoy dinner. Students must bring money and stay in groups of 3 or more to go to dinner. There are many options at various price points around the Wortham downtown including Frank's Pizza, Birraporetti's, Shake Shack, and more. Anywhere between $15 to $30 should be plenty. Students will meet back at the Wortham at 6:30pm and the performance will begin at 7:00pm and end at 10:00pm. We should return back to TMHS around 11:00pm.

Our Spring, Senior Recognition Concert is coming up on Monday, May 4th at 7:00pm! Student call time will be 5:45pm dressed in their formal concert attire. Students will receive 4 major grades for this concert - punctuality, attire, performance, and audience etiquette. Students will also need to bring a change of clothes for after the concert as they will receive a major grade for turning in their choir uniform. If your student is going to NYC with us in June, they will not be turning their uniform in at this time.

Please ensure that your student has their TMHS uniform items, there is a tag with our label inside all uniform items. If your student does not turn in the proper uniform and has lost uniform items, they must pay for the items to be replaced.

We have sent many emails throughout the year if we are missing any fees for students. Please know that if you have any unpaid fees that your student will go on fines and fees and will not be able to exempt finals at the end of the year.

Below is our choir audition form for next school year. We will use this form as we begin auditions this week, so please make sure you have completed the form before you audition. If you wish to be considered for The Major Chords, you must complete the form below in addition to the Chamber Choir Application above.
