Happy Halloween, Sparta!

Best of luck to our men's cross country team as they compete for the state championship tomorrow at the Norris Penrose Event Center! The team races at 2:20 p.m. If you plan to attend, please be mindful of the significant construction in the area and plan ahead for parking.

Mark your calendars for our fall theater production, The Importance of Being Earnest! Performances will take place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

We also look forward to seeing our JROTC cadets and marching band represent Doherty in the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Colorado Springs on November 6 at 11 a.m.

Winter athletics are just around the corner, with men's and women's wrestling and basketball beginning November 16. Please see the BOUND link below for registration information, including any associated costs.

Trick-or-Canning for Harvest of Love!

Trick or treat? How about something good to eat... for a great cause!

Our Spartan Student Council members will be hitting the neighborhoods surrounding Doherty on Halloween to collect nonperishable food donations for Harvest of Love! They'll be easy to spot in their blue Mad Love hoodies!

If our Spartans come knocking, consider sharing a canned good or two to help support families in need. Let's fill those bags and spread some Spartan love!

Germany is Calling! GAPP 2027

Spartans, your next adventure could take you all the way to Germany!

Through the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), students have the opportunity to host a German exchange student for three weeks in Spring 2027, then spend three unforgettable weeks experiencing life in Germany during Summer 2027!

Here's the best part: Travel is paid for by the district! Students are only responsible for food and personal essentials.

You don't have to be currently enrolled in German to apply, but you must be willing to learn!

Applications are due Friday, November 6!
