Brave and Belonging - Torres Elem.
August 28th, 2025
My name is Ms. Chavez, and I am honored to serve as your new Military Family Liaison at Dr. Joseph Torres Elementary. In this role, I’m here to support our military-connected students and families — whether you are new to El Paso, preparing for a PCS, or navigating the unique challenges of military life. While I split my time between Torres and Barron Elementary, I will be on campus every other day to stay connected and available to you.
Fall has arrived, and our Raptors are soaring high with pride, gratitude, and purpose! This month, we celebrate Military Family Appreciation Month and Veterans Day as we honor the incredible families who serve our nation.
November is also a time for reflection and connection—when we give thanks for our supportive school community and the strong partnerships that help our students thrive. From learning opportunities to family celebrations, our Raptors are ready to show their appreciation and leadership all season long.
Respectfully,
Angie Chavez
