As the principal of Heritage Elementary School I am excited for the 2022-2023 school year to begin. I know we are going to have a great year of teaching and learning. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and our students back. For those of you who are new to Heritage, I look forward to meeting you.

At the end of last school year, our students selected the Leader In Me Theme for this year. The theme is "Heritage Leaders/Eagles are Leading the Race." We look forward to seeing all of our students embrace this theme and grow as leaders.

Please join us for Open House, Monday, August 1st from 3:30pm-6:00pm.

I look forward to seeing you at Open House!

Donna Cline

Principal

All students must have their data updated before school starts. Please go to your Parent Portal Account, click on more, go to student registration, then click on annual update. You will need to update any information that is incorrect and upload a current lease/mortgage and utility bill.

This MUST be done for a student to receive a device, receive medical assistance from the nurse, and agree to the media policy. You will be asked to acknowledge and sign the FERPA-directory information, technology, code of conduct and student health care agreement. Please do this immediately to make sure your child is ready and enrolled for the start of school. For additional information please click on the following link:

Heritage will be following the Elementary Unified Dress Code. Students may wear any colored collared shirt and solid colored shorts, skirts/skorts, dresses and uniform jumpers in the colors of khaki, navy blue, and black. Plain denim jeans are allowed without frays, rips, or tears. Students must have clear or mesh book bags.

The 1st Day of School is Wednesday, August 3rd. Students may begin entering the building at 7:50. This year parents may walk their child to class for the first two days. Dismissal begins at 3:20 each day. Students should be picked up no later than 3:40. Please be patient with us as we make adjustments to ensure students are safe during arrival and dismissal from school.

Download the Remind App on your smartphone in order to stay in touch with your child's teacher, the school, and the district. If you have a mobile number on file in Parent Portal, you are automatically connected to Remind. If you are not receiving messages through Remind, please reach out to us so that we can help you get connected.
