Daily Announcements
Every morning, our students receive the daily announcements in English and Spanish. Visit our slides at any time to learn more about our student announcements. The slides are updated each weekend for the following week, but updates can happen daily. ***IMPORTANT***
Starting on Monday, 4.14.25, we will initiate a new drop off procedure.
- Students arriving before 7:45 AM, will continue to drop off students on Briggs or Copperfield as usual. No changes to drop-off for parents who are on time.
- Students arriving after 7:45 AM must be signed in. Parents will be asked to enter the front driveway off Copperfield and park their car in our circle driveway, enter the building at Door #1, and sign in their student.
Why the change? For the safety of all our students, it is essential that they are accounted for and where they've been in the morning before entering school. A parent/guardian signing in their student lets us know that they were in their care and safe supervision. This also eliminates unnecessary calls to check on student's wearabouts prior to a late arrival. With this in place, parents/guardians can have peace of mind that their student is accounted for and assured they will get a call if they are not signed in.
Student vs. Staff Volleyball Game
All students will enjoy watching our annual Student vs. Staff Volleyball game on Thursday, 4.17.25. We will run a PM Assembly Schedule for the game in the afternoon (see the schedule below). If you need to pick up your student early for an appointment, please do prior to 1:30 PM or allow for extra time as it will take us a few minutes longer to retrieve your student from the crowd in the gym during the game.
2025-2026 Registration Opens

Attendance Matters!
Plan family vacations and doctor appointments on school holidays. Try not to schedule vacations and appointments on days when school is in session. Remember, even missing one or two days of school a month can add up quickly and cause your child to fall behind on the lessons being taught in class.
Technology Information for Eighth Grade Students
- 8th Grade Technology Accounts will be disabled on Friday, June 13, 2025.
- 8th Grade Students are encouraged to use Google Takeout to save files to a personal account before Friday, June 13, 2025.
- During the week of June 16, 2025, the District will begin releasing 8th grade graduate Chromebooks from our management system.
