Hey Quest families! During the month of November Quest celebrates the Veterans in our Quest families with a photo wall display. Please consider emailing a photo of your family's Veteran(s) to either John Adams (jadams@aurorak12.org) or Ann Green (aegreen@aurorak12.org) so we can celebrate their service. Hard copies that do not need to be returned can be brought in at the office. Please include a note with the Veteran's name, rank, and where he/she served. Thank you for helping us give recognition to those who have served our country.
National Junior Honor Society Annual
NJHS students are rallying together to help families in need by sponsoring our annual Thanksgiving food drive. Each grade has a specific nonperishable food item that they are being asked to bring in. The items are listed below:
- Kindergarten - Cranberry Sauce and Apple Cider Mix
- 1st Grade - Cranberry Sauce and Apple Cider Mix
- 2nd Grade - Boxed Stuffing
- 3rd Grade - Boxed Stuffing
- 4th Grade - Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

Turkeys are accepted, but please inform your homeroom teachers in advance so that we can properly store them. They will need to be brought to the school between November 14th to November 17th by 11:30 am.
If you are in need of help this season, please reach out to the front office so we can make sure to prioritize Quest families.

Vice President candidate
There’s been an opening on our board fir Vice President and we have a nominee. We will be voting at the next meeting. Here he is!
Hello Aurora Quest Families,
My name is Scott Sandoval, and I’m honored to be nominated for Vice President of the Aurora Quest PTA. I’m a Colorado native, a proud husband, and a father who became a parent at 35 — something that’s been the most rewarding experience of my life. We are a new Kinder family and truly appreciate the dedication of the staff and the strong sense of community that makes this school unique.
Professionally, I’m a Senior Project Manager for a utility consulting firm, with nearly 15 years in the industry leading teams, managing complex projects, and keeping communication and organization at the forefront of everything I do. I believe those same skills translate perfectly into supporting the PTA’s mission — bringing structure, teamwork, and follow-through to our goals and events.
As Vice President, my focus would be on strengthening parent involvement, supporting teachers, and ensuring our activities run smoothly and inclusively. I value collaboration, communication, and finding practical ways to turn good ideas into real results that benefit our students and staff.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, exploring Colorado’s outdoors, and making hip-hop music in my downtime — a creative outlet that keeps me grounded and inspired.
Thank you for considering me for this role. I’m excited for the opportunity to give back to the Aurora Quest community and help make this year one to remember.
Warmly,
Scott Sandoval

Want to Volunteer? Here's how...
Our parent volunteers are our rock and help us navigate through the school year with less stress. If you are interested in volunteering, here is how to get your badge and clearance.
We will be asking parents to get their volunteer badges to be chaperones during field trips.
STEP 1: Complete the Screening Process (Background Check). Click Here to be directed to the Aurora Public Schools' website for the screening process.
STEP 2: Fill out the Volunteer form for Mr. Adams, our Family Liaison. He will reach out to you so you can send him a picture of your valid driver's license (front only) and a picture of yourself with a plain background for your badge. Mr. Adams will submit the "Volunteer Approval Form" with both pictures to the Safety & Security Department.
Your volunteer badge will be sent to the school and you will be informed so that you can pick it up once approval from the Safety & Security Department goes through.
.
