From the Principal's Desk
Dear Marrs Families,
As we step into this joyful season, I find myself reflecting on the many moments that have made the first half of our school year truly special. Marrs is a place full of heart, and this fall reminded us just how strong and vibrant our community is.
From the excitement of unveiling our new STEM claw machine—a project brought to life through the creativity of our staff and the generosity of our PTO—to the warm, comforting tradition of Marrs Chili Day, our building has been full of joy. Students filled our halls with curiosity during the Book Fair, showcased their determination and teamwork during Spell Bowl, and honored our community heroes at our heartfelt Veterans Day program. These memories capture what makes Marrs such an extraordinary place to learn and grow.
As we move into December, our students continue to amaze us with their progress, resilience, and kindness. Our staff remains dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences each and every day. And you—our families—remain an essential part of everything we do. Your encouragement, involvement, and support help make Marrs a place where every child feels valued and inspired.
As we prepare to close out 2025, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and enjoy this season with those you love most. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of the Marrs family. We look forward to beginning a bright new year together.

Hi families,
December is a month full of excitement, celebration, and change in routine. Along with all the holiday joy, this season can also bring big emotions for our students. We’ll continue supporting children with tools for self-regulation, flexible thinking, and kindness toward others. Encourage conversations at home about gratitude, empathy, and healthy ways to manage excitement. As always, I’m here to partner with families and teachers to support every student’s well-being. Wishing you a warm, safe, and joyful holiday season!

Hello Marrs Families!
As the busy season begins, we want to take a moment to share our gratitude for all the wonderful things happening in our school community. Thank you to every family, staff member, and community partner who helped make our first-ever Chili Bowl such a success!
As we move into December, we have several fun volunteer opportunities—including the Christmas Shop, Reindeer Games, and more. Please keep an eye on the Marrs PTO Facebook page for sign-ups and updates.
