We had a blast celebrating Start with Hello Week! Welcoming our students into our building each morning and being able to greet them is the best part of my day. It was fun to have other special greeters and dress-up days throughout this week. Check out the video below and our Bunker Hill CUSD8 Facebook Page for pictures from throughout our fun week together.
While it is hard to believe, next week will be the start to October. The end of our first quarter of school will be on October 15th. We will host parent teacher conferences on Tuesday, October 5th from 4:00-7:30 and Thursday, October 7th from 2:30-5:30. Students will dismiss at 2:00 PM on each of these days to allow teachers time to prepare for conferences that evening. Teachers will be sending out information about scheduling a meeting during our conference times sometime this week. We would like to meet with everyone to discuss your child's progress so far this school year.
You should also be receiving information about our fall fundraiser for Wolf Ridge next week. We typically only have fundraisers once every other year to raise much needed funds for our school. These funds have been used in the past to offer special events and activities for our families, support our classrooms, and add to our playground. Thank you in advance for participating and helping to support our school.
