High School Science Olympiad Team
The High School Science Olympiad team will kick off their season soon. The first meeting will be scheduled for next Thursday (the 24th) at 2:30 in room A232. If you are interested in the Science Olympiad please do everything you can to make it to this meeting. The first competition is on October 8th so we need to get started as soon as we can to be ready. This club is open to anyone interested so please come try your hand at science competition.
School Picture Day
School Picture Day will be Wednesday, September 23 for LHS and students will have photos taken during their English classes (or lunch block, if they have D block English). Photos by Jenn has provided this link for more information and instructions on how to pre-order.
Parent Pick up
We have been experiencing some congestion in the lower student parking lot at the end of the day for dismissal. Parents should not be picking students up in the lower lot, but should be utilizing the parent pick up loop next to the high school wing. You can access the pick up loop off of Massachusetts Ave. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Back To School Emergency Forms
Here is a link to the back to school emergency forms that are mandatory for every family to complete. This information is critical to our school nurses and administrators to keep your student safe. Students may be deferred access to athletics, afterschool activities or field trips until the form is complete.

Student Council Elections ( Freshmen and SAC)
The freshmen student elections will be taking place over the next few weeks. We also have two Student Advisory Council (SAC) positions that are open and need to be filled by Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors.
Please check the google classroom next week and listen to the morning announcements for more information.
Senior Privilege
Seniors will have a meeting regarding Senior privileges on Tuesday during Advisory. In order for a student to take advantage of privileges, a guardian will need to have filled out the Emergency Form and Parent Handbook Sign-off Form, both of which are available by clicking HERE. Additional required documents will be a parking pass for any student who is parking on campus, as well as a signed permission form to be handed out at the meeting.
