May-June 2026 Newsletter
Dear Pioneer Families,
As we wrap up the school year we want to keep you informed about important dates and upcoming events. Please take a moment to review a few key dates below and explore the building and district-wide links for additional details.
An Elementary Highlight and District-wide Reminders
The Wellness Buddies Program
A major highlight of this school year has been the successful rollout of the Wellness Buddies program across Coloma, Oxford, and Westfield. Designed by school counselors, the program pairs 4th and 5th-grade volunteers (“Big Buddies”) with younger peers from 4K through 3rd grade.
This year, approximately 88 older students stepped up as mentors. By meeting a few times a week for small activities and check-ins, these students are building a culture of belonging. These positive peer connections are vital for nurturing strong character and leadership skills while helping every student feel safe and connected to their school environment.

Do you have food service questions?
We’re excited to share a convenient way to manage your child’s lunch account — online payments are now available!
Please note that a small processing fee will apply to each online transaction. This fee goes directly to the payment processing provider and helps us maintain a secure and efficient system.
To get started, visit: https://westfield.revtrak.net/
Or you can go into your Skyward account to Food Service. There you will see "Make a Payment" and you will have the option to make recurring payments as well.
In addition to Skyward Food Service, you can see your child's daily transactions.
We will continue to accept cash or checks in the school office for those who prefer traditional payment methods.
We hope this new system makes managing lunch accounts easier for busy families. Thank you for your continued support!
